We provide P.I.R.S. youth programs that focus on developing life skills, building resilience, and cultivating safe spaces to support youth in uncovering, discovering and recovering their authentic selves. We focus on underserved youth in rural Central Oregon.
Our President, former NFL pro football player, John Charles is All American and a Portland State Football Hall of Fame Inductee as quarterback (2018). John, certified THW, is leading our P.I.R.S. youth sports agility and life skills programs.
P.I.R.S. Youth Programs offer private individual sessions, group training sessions, skills development classes, and quarterback and skills position camps. They are designed to guide our youth toward a healthy lifestyle, empowering them with tools to ultimately reach their full potential.

P.I.R.S. Youth Summer Intern Program is provided in collaboration with Warm Springs Community Counseling and Warm Springs Community Action Team. We provide youth programs that is trauma-informed and "hides the medicine in the cheese." We strive to provide safe environment where youth felt comfortable to be themselves and could share honestly about the challenges in their lives. At the same time, we also teach and facilitate podcasting (how to make your own podcast), life skills, somatic exercises, coping skills, music lessons, guitar lessons, outdoor adventures, nervous system regulation education and other trauma-informed approaches to learning how to regulate and be with big emotions as well as alchemizing difficult challenges into growth opportunities.

P.I.R.S. Youth Peer Support Services (YPSS) are designed and delivered by individuals with lived experience with SUD, co-occurring disorders (COD), and recovery. YPSS will represent diverse backgrounds- tribal members, sexual gender minorities, varying social and economic classes, and family structures. Our YPSS focuses on underserved youth in Jefferson County.
Jennifer Eales, certified PSS, THW, Yoga Teacher & Somatics Facilitator, is the project coordinator for our youth summer programs and youth peer support programs.
